Overview

RJW Exchange is a B2B document exchange platform that automates the full order-to-cash cycle between RJW and its network of customers, vendors, and suppliers. Before the platform existed, trading partners exchanged documents manually across disconnected systems — creating friction, errors, and delays at every step of the process.

The Problem

Trading partners — customers, vendors, and suppliers — were exchanging documents manually across disconnected systems. Purchase orders, invoices, advance ship notices, and other transaction documents moved through email, fax, and spreadsheets. Each handoff introduced errors, delays, and reconciliation work. The business had no unified view of document status, no automated validation, and no way to scale volume without adding headcount.

My Role

Add your role details here — what you owned, what decisions you made, what teams you led or collaborated with.

The Solution

Built a unified platform that standardized document exchange across the trading partner network. The platform supports EDI and API-based integrations, automated document validation and routing, real-time status visibility for all parties, and exception handling workflows that surface issues before they become disputes. Onboarding new trading partners — previously a manual, weeks-long process — was reduced to a self-service flow.

The Outcome

The platform now serves 100+ customers, vendors, and suppliers. Manual document handling was eliminated for the majority of transaction volume. Order-to-cash cycle times decreased, dispute rates dropped, and the operations team was able to scale transaction volume without proportional headcount growth.
